That implies the overall market for processors is about 35M for both Q1 and Q2 vs. over 40M per quarter in 2000.

John, does this mean that the variable cost is much, much higher
than the fixed cost ? Where is ASP breakeven for AMD ... Seems like

Petz-

That is a pretty expensive 1%! If ASPs fall to 72, what will they be when AMD gets to 30% market share? Calling this "GOOD" seems a little like being glad your house burned down because now you get to change the wallpaper.
