Thanks for the suggestions..I was thinking the same thing.

I will wait until someone else has some other ideas but I think I will end up formatting (after I try to save my son-in-laws files) and then reloading Win 95.

I need help using my DOS commands. I don't have any literature anymore on Dos. I can remember how to delete files but can't remember how to del Directories. Is there a place on the web that gives that info?
