Flap your right. Look the government will take in something like 2.3 trillion dollars in taxes which is double what they took in 10 years ago. Nobody can argue that we are receiving double the services we got 10 years ago. While liberals and conservatives argue back and forth the wealth of this nation is being transferred to government and the legal profession. One lawyer took in 1 billion dollars in the tobacco settlement. The patient's bill of rights is a good example.

While we bicker back and forth they divide and conquer. Personally if the huge amount I "contributed" in taxes did some good and helped bring peace and prosperity to this nation I wouldn't mind, I would be content. However while I work on 50 plus hrs and add in another 10 for travel I get no thanks or joy for my contributions. The people who receive the transfer never issue a thank you. And it's not the money its the hours spent. These are hours I could spend in relaxation and personal growth. What really annoys me is not the taxes but the squandering of them.
At least they should be using the technology and other means to cut costs and effectively help people without hoarding most of it for their own personal benefits.
