So what have you have demonstrated besides your ignorance? A biased, closed mind, and a skewed view of "reality".

What a perfect self-description of yourself greg!

Louis Pasture would have had a good laugh about that.

Freedom to creatively explore the nature of the world thru
experimentation , using science as our Temple and our laboratory and
Humanism as our religion , is what Pasteur stood
for . What a better world it is , that we had such
Godless men like him in it , huh?

The Progress of Humanity

"I beseech you to take interest in these sacred domains so expressively called laboratories. Ask that there be more and that they be adorned for these are the temples of the future, wealth and well-being. It is here that humanity will grow, strengthen and improve. Here, humanity will learn to read progress and individual harmony in the works of nature, while humanity's own works are all too often those of barbarism, fanaticism and destruction." --

~Louis Pasteur

You pretend to believe in a loving God, but
all anyone hears coming out of your mouth is
petty argument, a stagnant fundamentalist history and a
ZEALOTS character assassination of anyone
that questions your archaic , narrow beliefs.

Have you ever traveled outside the city limits
of Calgary at all ? Ever taken one college course in Biology
Anthropology , Psycholgy , History or any of
the sciences ?

I thought not ...such a pity . But you like to play
the wounded , hurt , and maligned "Christian" so often.
Maybe you should really go back to the fundamentals,
greg . Try your nearest junior college and open
a book.

Louis Pasture would have had a good laugh about that.

It is not Louis Pasture...but --->Louis Pasteur, greg

I know you think of yourself as one of God's chosen
Holy Sheep~herders , but ....

...and we also know you were just recently reading
and delving deeply into his work on asymmetry
differentiates the organic world from
the mineral world ...and stereochemistry.

...but at least learn to spell his
name correctly , before you go on to spread
your myopic, anaerobic sheep-dip around.

" Louis Pasture"----->ROFL

You are really too much...you had better
stick to throwing clay in your garage up there
on the sheep-ranch <g>

Did I say the Jews sprang from nothing? No. But I don't believe the myths they created about their past any more than I believe the myths written by the Greeks, about theirs...

David never existed? Who knows. Possibly... but maybe not as quite as mighty a figure as the bible would indicate.
Do other contemporary records from the large empires around the ME record him or Solomon? Do we see masses of coinage, great buildings (or the remains thereof), traces of great cities...? Surely the Zionist Jews in particular would have foudn good evidence by now to justify their claims to eretz Israel... they haven't.
Maybe he was the leader of another small city-state in the area, a local lord.

Finally, distinguish your semantics, please. To me, the universe has no 'aim' - there is no 'plan' for it, no 'will' directing its path. This does not mean that beginning and end cannot be determined: we can work out the mathematical constants, and are working on the 'how'. Nor does the Big Bang indicate generation from nothing. We don't know exactly how it happened... yet... we're down to the first millionth (or so) of a second. But I don't think anyone's seriously proposed that there was 'nothing' there before... how can you say 'before' about the beginning of space-time? There is no 'why' for the universe within science - that I know of.
(And why you bring in Pasteur, I cannot guess... he's not known as a cosmologist).

But I'm no expert, nor can I be bothered to do all the thinking for you... since even the US education system has plainly failed to bring you out of the 5th century, since science, technology and reason have so plainly passed you by, since you jeer and deride the very means and inventors who enable you to communicate here, I see no reason to bother with you any longer.
Go, reject science and the fruits of human endeavour. Go, live by the bible. And go and die early and miserable in ignorant, primitive squalor.
