Superb response - very succinct.

I suppose AMD is more moral than Intel - and they are also being run by a mad man - so that makes AMD better.

Tenchusatsu,

Re:<it is Intel who is accelerating the price war.

OK Joe, you win. Intel is big, bad, and evil. AMD is a just the poor victim of a greedy corporation who will stop at nothing less than 100%.

I think the original subject were the posts of a bunch of Intel investors who continue to be shocked that AMD is pricing their products at price that allows AMD to sell them (and make profit), rather than lay down an play dead, implying that what AMD is doing is a price war, which will bankrupt them. They (Intel investors) suggest that AMD prices their product at price at which nobody will buy them, above the price ceiling which is set by Intel.

Now tell us why AMD is such a great investment.

We may be getting to the point where any stock in SOXX will be a great investment. Why AMD rather than other stocks? That's a good question. I will have to get back to you on that. I thought AMD was a bargain below $21 last week.
