If this first Kauri well is a dud, the market will make SFY suffer, but I don't think it will be, and even if it is, I think that more wells will be drilled, some successfully. If the well fails, it's the first failure out of many attempts.

You're very correct, though, that the market often doesn't reward discoveries until the oil sales are showing up in cash flow. OIL popped on some discovery news, but not as much as the discovery was worth. My biggest concern here is that the market will yawn when Kauri comes through, and the stock price will languish for another few months.
