Let me take a shot at that. Greg and Average are not using these words as you and I use them, or, indeed, as Webster's Dictionary uses them.. What they really mean by "Cheap Shot" and "Condescending" is "I don't like what you are saying, but I haven't got a logical argument, so I'm going to say you were BEING nasty." I am sure you knew this. But for those not familiar with the ubiquitous nature of the ad hominem/ignore the merits of the argument posts of these two fellows, I thought I would mention it.
