Maybe the fact they warned after they had the numbers in for earnings and then came out and beat their warning...all within 10 days! What a joke.

I think this is my 4 wave and we are doing/just did the 'a' down.

Non-tech did not make that second low with tech.

Besides AMD "beating" their reduced estimates, they also warned for the year and were plain old negative in general on the CC yesterday (per the recaps I've read). I would imagine there were downgrades, but I dunno.

Also re: SOXX weakness, RMBS had earnings of truly dismal character yesterday. (Just as a note, Monday has Novellus earnings, the first of the big equip makers (and the one who's most likely to weather the downturn a little better due to their product mix) to report, and then I think Thursday has both AMCC and BRCM. I'm sure they'll both be BLOWOUTS!)
