Hi T and all Saunites,

We haven't.. but I know people that have been on that Copper Canyon train through the mountains.. Great. I don't even know where that starts though.. We once rode the bus system for the heck of it in the Yucatan.. It worked good and everyone was so friendly and helpful..

I see that Tazio has given you a ton of info., so I will be brief. I took the train from Matamoros to Mexico City about 10 years ago. I am sure you will be riding something a bit more modern, but regardless...if someone asks you (in Spanish) if you would like a "sleeper"--give him the 3 dollars! When you realize you need a sleeper--they are no longer available :)
