Gottfried,

Re: "Maybe, but so many intelebee on this tread make me guess that
it's Intel's foot more than AMD's foot."

Maybe this will help change your mind ... Nah, I doubt it. <ggg> -->

AMD Profits Nosedive

"SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Computer chip maker Advanced Micro Devices
Inc. (NYSE:AMD - news) barely beat Wall Street's dramatically lowered
expectations for its second-quarter earnings and gave a grim outlook for the current quarter.

Chief executive Jerry Sanders said Thursday he believed, however, that
business will pick up significantly in 2002.

Investors weren't convinced, sending shares down $1.65, or 7 percent,
to $21.05 in early trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
"

I guess some investors don't read the AMD SI thread ... They think
AMD has "too much" potential already. <ggg>

Make It So,
