Not quite accurate. Palomino is still a 0.18-micron processor. And the argument is for relative scaling using 0.18-micron process technology. That is to say, will the fastest 0.18-micron Athlon keep pace with the fastest 0.18-micron P4. Northwood should be compared to Thoroughbred, and later Barton.
