I requested Merlin, Tracker and a number of others. I finally, in frustration, glanced at my bookcase in my computer room and there was a book I had picked up internationally, Legend . I figured the odd name of the lead character ought to go through. It did. So any divinity credit should go to the author David Gemell. As for the rest of it I was never in love with math. I would hate to think I have to reduce everything in life to numbers to try to figure God's plan or anything else. There is a far simpler way, it fits with most major religions. Whatever happens to you is karma or God's will. If it didn't happen it wasn't karma or God's will. If you really, really wanted it and prayed and prayed and then it didn't happen, that was God's will. He moves in mysterious ways and he doesn't particularly care to consult you on everything. If something happened to you and it truly sucked, God is working his divine plan and part of the plan is for you to get reamed at that time. God and his divine plan are not accountable to you or for that matter particularly take you into account. See Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger for more clarification of this. When you can squeeze your numbers and tell me the next series of lottery numbers, the closing price of any stock, or the number of the next roll of dice, I will be profoundly interested. Until then I think you are dealing with the same arbitrary, often cruel, and dangerous world that the rest of us are. You are simply seeking to use number combinations to try to find some meaning, some predictability, and safety with them. I would suggest you try Legend it is available in the states now and is a fun sort of book. However it is a fantasy and I am not sure you need to be reading fantasies. Druss
