Bull$hit...Luc called one on Micron yesterday! Some folks are a little leery about revealing their hand on the short side...who knows who reads this stuff? Don't wanna get taken for an indicator by some Hedgie who wants to "play the other way" if you know what I'm saying. Or by some frustrated lunatic who's lost his ass going long VERT or CRDS....and wants revenge!

Jeff: Not true. Several do this. At this end, while I am reluctant to provide specific recommendations (for a variety of previously-stated reasons), it isn't difficult to come to a reasonable conclusion as to which stocks I might be short based on the comments made. Have you perused AMAT, NVLS, PRD, NVDA, XLNX, CLS, ADBE, lately? (g) Best, Earlie

J Jordan-I just read this thread,but my take would be this isn't some low level short pumpers and by that I mean their just talking the market here w/a bear angle-globally-personally I think they should listen a bit more to Andy Grove and fellas but so be it-they seem like Macro players here-it depends on who you read,I read some physicist[very slowly between drools] who claim things will begin to move at a exponential rate in the near future w/a 5% growth rate with low un-employement and low inflation;my guess is this thread wouldn't buy into that-as far as stock calls, you probably won't get it here-but it seems like Ms.Mar$ is the pro trader there(just don't post a long around her unless you want a better price)<g>-cheers
