if you really believe that premise in your heart of hearts
I thought deeply on the subject when my wife and I lost our first child due to early birth complications (5 month gestation). My wife and I had to live many of the decisions which had before been theoretical. Even though we really wanted to start our family, we decided to forego any heroic actions which this pregnancy and try again. We now have 2 wonderfull children and I don't regret a minute that we are able to give our full attention to the children we have. My heart has been examined and it beats fine for me.

Rape is wrong
It is society which condems crimes against people and in fact defines who is a person. I'm sure you recognize this and this is why you want to define your cells of choice as people. (Just as corporations were defined as legal people for some purposes). The definition of legal personhood begins at conception leads to lots of contradictions and random exceptions, while the legal concept that personhood begins at birth works well. In your brain of brains you should examine some of the ramifications of taking your position to it's conclusion. Will a women be arrested for feigning a headache to avoid sex that could have resulted in a conception? She prevented potential life didn't she?
