I would suggest to you that the current subscriber base of carriers choosing to adopt each standard is a more realistic way of measuring the relative market shares of CDMA2000 versus WCDMA. Although we can simplify things a bit: tell me, how many carriers have chosen CDMA2000 vs WCDMA.

Mr Roth, do you actually think that the horsepower
it takes to do a WCDMA handset cannot do some 100
GSM phones???

The first GSM handsets were done with 10MHz TI DSPs,
now we are talking 400-600MHz and double multipliers,
control part offloaded on a an ARM.
