"In an overnight note to clients redolent of the heyday of the tech boom, Robertson Stephens lifted the shares of Juniper to "strong buy" from "buy," saying "field checks" have led them to conclude that Juniper is prepared to beta test a new router in August. Analyst Paul Johnson said he expected that the Juniper product code-named Gibson will have "four times the routing capacity of the M160 with OC-768 ready slots and backplane." Johnson said he expected that Juniper has "the potential to dominate the market" and added that "we don't believe Cisco is anywhere near Juniper's development timeframe when it comes to an OC-768 ready router."

Tim, my comment on EMLX was because I think they're too concentrated in one product line, HBAs, with something like 60-70% market share. I think HBA pricing will suffer more than any other component of SAN by sometime next year because there is not enough complexity anymore(maturity factor) and competition will be catching up. Just look at list of competitors: A(new products in the pipeline and will probably gain market share), QLGC, ADPT, HWP,...LSI, CPQ,....JNIC, INPH
