You betcha. I've still got my hardcover Starship Troopers from the early 60's; not to mention most of his other books. He sure got metaphysical at the end. He also attended USNA, as did I, and I listened to a talk he gave my senior year. Unfortunately, he was past his prime. I spent my early years in Oracle and Foxbase on SCO systems and some VAX before moving to Progress on AIX, Solaris, and SCO. I quit working at it full time last year but still do some consulting.
