but to demonstrate that Christians do read the Talmud - if an expose is warranted, it would have been written before Shahak.

I went into a Jewish bookstore a few years ago to pick up a copy of the Talmud. The lady was patient and helpful and steered me to some introductory commentaries. I didn't get the impression she was trying to hide anything.
