stock options will become so discredited that anybody who accepts them instead of cash will be considered loony. I think they're already there for all but the most stable of large companies. After those horror stories of people going bankrupt from the tax bill on those worthless options, people do want cash in lieu of options. However, isn't that indicative of a bottom or at least close to it? When most people are afraid of stocks, isn't that the time to be contrarian and start buying them?
