Bush policy against Cuba a step backward. You either have to open the place up or you just invade. This embargo achieves nothing but starving the Cuban people and keeping them weak and under Castro's power. It's the people who suffer here, not Castro. He's got billions. Bush is just caving in to the old Cold Warrior dinosaurs in Miami who have nothing but their own greed and vengeance in mind.

Hastert not only beat McCain on Thursday, he got the Democrats to do it. The 1st Amendment survives another attempt to destroy it by charlatans like McCain, Feingold, Meehan, and Shays. All four should resign immediately...
