I will buy that, ... for from your words, I see you have given yourself time and space to see the Calculus in the shape of stars versus time ... The only question is.. Do you see the fractals as a by-stander, investigator or a thief? Beleive me..it makes a difference. When one enters a crime scene different people see different things... even thou they are practicing the same science. Do not answer right away. Think about what I just wrote above.

Something in the ‘collective unconscious’ motivates them to act the way they do That's about as noble as I've ever heard it said. If their manipulation is successful, it means that the emotion of the larger “herd” was inclined to begin with as to allow it to be successful; again, they are just reflecting the public mood. By this do you mean that they essentailly 'stoke the fear and provoke the greed' but those two emotions are greater than they are and are always in play.
