Have I just entered the twilight zone?

there is no relationship between the nonsense he/she (we don't yet know who) is putting forth and China now.

Well as tekboy has already said, the name is James Surowiecki, so I'm guessing it's a he. It doesn't seem that you've read the article. The article did not make any specific predictions for the future, it just pointed out a systematic exaggeration that's gone on in the past. The only future-oriented point of the article, if any, is to, as tb said, "tone down the hype"--not any specific hype, but the general "China hype".

If you have read the article, what is it about the article that you disagreed with? I've heard you say several times that the author is spouting nonsense, but I haven't heard any specific factual disagreement. If you haven't read the article... why are you railing against it?

But I have just read your attack on me as a person as gdi which is not any label I use. Do you do that often?

Sad.

I have absolutely no frigging idea what you're talking about. Is gdi an insult in some foreign language? Isn't that your screen-name?

I'd be really interested in where you think that I attacked you as a person. Barring that, I'd be really interested in an apology.
