Cha2,

I'm not following the train of thought you're persuing with Ethan. He mentions an article that, by his summary, addresses that the typical, historical, western approach to China hasn't produced successes on the scale of the expectations. What in the world could be misleading about that?

Please enlighten us about China. Am particularly interested in consumer buying power for Western goods and government policies.

Have been interested in China for decades, through friends, clients, and investments. Investments were less than satisfactory. Chinese friends and clients here don't trust the Peking government, so why should anyone else? True, there's been a real love-fest over the past couple of weeks while trying to capture the Olympics.

Did you hear about how the US was presented with a storage bill for the EP-3 that they refused to release?
