Could that be what Mr. Sanders had in mind when he stated that over the long term, AMD's potential profitability remains undiminished? SOI with IC performance up 35% and power consumption down 35%...By the time P4 gets out of the hangar, it looks like it's going to hit a brick wall!

I just called AMD - and they said to call back in about a year for the SOI stuff !
