Mike: It is actually very simple.

China now is not China then.

What is true of course is that selling into China then and selling into China now is not easy.

But to assume there is the slightest correlation between China then and China now is, not to put too fine a point on it, stupid.

What was then and what is now are different.

But then, let's see, shall we?

A bit of ill will on the thread, recently, and just when things seemed to be looking up on NASDAQ. I'll just note one thing as an attempt at a sort of synthesis: while it's true that westerners have always had very high hopes for China as a market, it's also true that in the past several years they've sold them a very large number of cell phones. Just a thought.

ps- Mike; the fact that I picked your post to answer is not personal and this is not a rebuttal to it.
