I believe Orange is a minority partner in a US system at 800Mhz. Baltimore if my notes are correct.

your links appeared to be a report on the recent ITU2000 trade show in Hong Kong.

The article said only about half the manufacturers showed up. I guess Nokia must be in the half that had nothing to show?

I am not sure if the show is strictly intended for GPRS products or was it just the way it was reported, but obviously many CDMA products were there.

Most interesting is the ZTE802, third from bottom. It is just a prototype but already touted as the lightest SIM CDMA handset. It also has functions that sounded like they are specifically designed for the ease of Chinese language messaging.
