<<Firm has discovered that AMZN has invited as many as 80 reporters. Notes that AMZN historically has used these types of events to make major announcements.>>

Sounds like their branching out. Maybe another announcement that "will change the face of E-commerce forever"?? Like selling barbeque products over the internet, or perhaps sponges.

I looked at the reply from patron_anejo_por_favor prior to posting. I was thinkign the same thing except he was referring to the outdoors department. The changing the face of e-commerce forever was for the hardware store. The concept was close enough.

The major announcement could be Chapter 11. They have been really good at the PR game. Maybe they could put a positive spin on Chapter 11.

I can't stress enough that this story is over. It amazes me that the press and some analysts still do not see it that way.

Watch the mature businesses actually drop year over year for Q2. We were suppose to see 50% revenue growth rates year over year.
