Gloopie,

Talk to lost1 about that. Two years ago he and the Mrs. stayed at the hard rock. If memory serves me, at some point over the weekend they moved to the MGM.

Jane

Busy day today in Madison. The previous two years I had been in Madison on this weekend!!

HARDROCK! I always stayed at the HardRock due to the obvious cool chit..like Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty chips, etc. Loud, Good music blaring everywhere..beautiful young women everywhere..a real party every night...oh and "The Joint" is there. IT's a medium size room that gets the best rock shows in LV..saw Blondie there a couple years back..KICK ASS!!! Great great live band..

....the HARDROCK sux <g>

Lostwife and I stayed there on one PIFF shindig and ended up moving over to the MGM since everyone else was staying there. After a few cab rides I decided to have the stuff relocated while I was out whippin JXMs buttocks in golf...LOL!!! NOT!!!

One downside to the HardRock is that it's hard to really get the craps moving. The volume is great for everything BUT craps. The cranked tunes does keep the elder women with both fists clinched to big gulp-sized buckets O nickels away...LOL!!!!

The MGM is a great place for gambling. Real pros at the helm of the craps tables. OH...and the Coyote Cafe..Mmmmm
I think we can get a "players" rate ~ 80 bux..and they keep good track of play so if you spend much time at the tables the room will be cheaper...I won't say "FREE"...LOL!!
I love it when people talk about "FREE DRINKS" in Lv...I figured it out once...costs about $80 a beer in reality

Good spa services, etc

I doubt we can get everyone to agree to the HardRock, but I love that place. Perhaps STP will be there<g> (They were playing last time).
I plan on leaving the hotel more this year..even if it's just to go ride the metroBUS with Pitera again

MGM..plan it on a weekend with a fight...JXM snags us TIX..we're golden

It won't matter to me, I usually like to stay elsewhere but not too far away when I'm with a group.

It's just that I like to try different hotels each time.
