when folks think Gold should be treated as "money". It simply opens pandora's box with regard to CB intervention and management of exchange rate as they do with every other currency.

When was the box closed?

What dose the AirForse supply to those flying sorties to use in case of crashing in enemy territory?Gold,Not paper, except for a pledge to pay even more in gold for the safe return of that pilot.
A majority of the people on this planet still relate to gold more than to paper currency.

<<That's what happens when folks think Gold should be treated as "money". >>

Only last 30 years gold in not standard, at least in US . Please show some patience (no one will stop you from selling it) but don't make jugdement based on tiny fraction of history of monetary systems. The scheme will fall apart without waiting too long. And will no matter if severe deflation, hyperinflation or sky high taxes will cause it.
GOLD was,is, and will be the best form of money. I can prove to you strictly and without any doubt taking genetic science into account.( Actually you do your study and learn something)

Well, thanks, glad your back. The greater number of nay sayers at this point, the better. We need a "wall of worry" a size yet unseen by mortal man.

Remember, though, as we have stated often before the issue of gold's monetary status is your issue - NOT MINE.
