Russia, China to build oil pipeline

MOSCOW - Russia and China have signed an agreement on principles of
feasibility studies for the construction of an oil pipeline from Russia to China.

This agreement was signed after negotiations between Russian Prime
Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. It has also been
signed by Russian Energy Minister Igor Yusupov, head of the YUKOS oil
company Mikhail Todorovsky and Transneft president Semen Vainshtok.

Russia is going to supply oil to China over the next 25 years: 20 million tons
a year from 2005 to 2010 and 30 millions tons a year from 2010 to
2030. /RosBusinessConsulting/
