We all know that some children are born without a chance in this competitive world. I'm very interested in questions regarding the (intact) BBB and antibodies. Can we passively immunize mothers-to-be with a cheap immunoglobulin mix that will pass both the placenta and the infant's BBB? That's a focus of my interest in medicine, going forward. Society, even in developed nations, isn't dealing with the crap that drugs and stress dump on preterm infants. We don't have enough homes that can provide love and food for our children -- it's the ultimate expression of insanity, a wealthy society which allows intrauterine crime with such disdain.
