As long as oil, gas, rates and imports are priced low (to keep the Fed from raising rates), the economy will recover.

I think this is more complex. I am assuming that some companies will not survive. So when demand does recover, the survivors will experience a significant improvement in revenues and profits. I concede there might be a period of "fire-sale" in some products as a last gasp by dying companies. That might be a very good time to buy stocks. Of course at that time the bears will plausibly say the economy is falling off a cliff, etc... and that people should SELL EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW!!!!! I very much hope that they succeed in stampeding the idiots off the cliff and I plan on buying from them.
