Yeah, I've always been quite interested in the "window to the soul" ideas as well. I'm sure there's some combo of cues that look "intelligent," but what they are I don't know. Neuro Linguistic Programming was always heavily into the eye-movement thing, but as far as I know none of it was ever really verified in objective studies. In the movie they got the eyes extremely well, the emphasis based on a proverb about Japanese doll eyes apparently. Other facial and head movements were not totally convincing, but as I said they're certainly close. The faces weren't really very mobile aside from the eyes and mouths - the rest didn't really move in concert.

Not to take the car thing too far, but I like Angelina's carriage and shape in general, especially her square shoulders and coltish limbs especially (in addition to all the more obvious male fetishes). I also like the way she looks like her Dad - it's pretty cool. I heard an interesting interview with her where she talked about the conflicts in her relationship with her father and their bearing on their reunion scene in the movie. It was kinda cool.
