Actually you are right, the QQQ which track NDX is a basket of stocks so when one stock price move it affect it weight as a percent number. The basket details as of 03/31/2001 can be found at amex.com the problem is that in early june NVDA has replaced VSTR and I don't know exactly how it has affect the whole basket. Back in march VSTR weight was 2.42% which does not match with the NVDA weight that you gave in a previous post so I guess it was not a simple weight switch. i'm trying to figure out the new basket composition (that is the way I cross your post) if you can help, it would be welcomed
