What is it with your side and appeasement? Can't you see that we are all in this together?

pally, >>>>Apology, No apology, I was mistaken in the depth of the truth I was conveying and choose some words or examples poorly.

this is still true misrepresentation.
The United States, the biggest emitter of greenhouse gases, signed the 1997 Kyoto agreement, but Bush pulled out of the accord before it was ratified by the Senate. He said it would damage the U.S. economy and was unfair because it did not set targets for cutting emissions by developing countries like China and India, two potentially large
emitters.

America signed???? NO-ONE signed, The senate rejected it unamamously.

>>>>why is ....appease the

because of the absolute total techno ignorance of the media the fact that the green are so far out in left lunch is not the perception of the really don't care voters in America. Now one as a politician cannot say that the rev al is a racist black opportunist. Especially if one is white.
Perception and reality. So in politics one has to choose words wisely. Politician are not engineers and just can't call folks stupid. So being honest and not offending is very very difficult.

I have no problem as being perceived as offensive or even offending everyone and thus being honest is very very easy.
