Airbus!!

Doesn't matter if it is plucked or not, but one
swedish rooster preferred his hens naked.
(LarsA probably knows this smart dutch associations)

For the rest, the pecking order among birds is tough,
especially in UK-style efficient hen-houses.
The lowest one usually dies after most feathers are
plucked and gone, but human males mostly prefer the females
naked, no feathers left, which of course makes for a good
story.

All of this has obviously little to do with medieval
stuff about tar and feathers, that was long time ago,
when EVIL had to be driven out of the village.
(although Discovery Channel and W tries to keep, or
bring forward, the population from those days)
