That might be true if one were willing to give the time and effort required to monitor someone else's moves from initiation to completion. I don't have the time to do that if I am going to focus on my own situation. I think you ought to rethink your concept of "harmony." I don't really see the problem that seems to be worrying you. Do you really want a board where everyone agrees on everything? Obviously, one can disagree in a disagreeable way--and I have tried very hard to avoid that. Maybe I have not succeeded as well as I should, and I will work on that. For the record, I don't think Iowaman is all that disagreeable either. He is bending over backward to demonstrate that his focus is on ideas and concepts--not people. Maybe that is not good enough for the majority. Maybe a critical focus on ideas and concepts is too much for some of you, especially when you feel that it is YOUR ideas and concepts that are being examined. If so, I will have misjudged you terribly. Of course this is a TA board. I think everyone knows that. But does that mean "either praise TA or leave"? The old "love it or leave it" routine? If so, I will be happy to waste my time elsewhere, and the rest can continue their love-in. I also think you ought to take another look at where most of the "squawking" is coming from.
