...the whole anti-trust farce is about protection for MSFT's competitors and extortion of $$'s, not consumer interest. ... I hate to break this to you, but an large part of antitrust law is about protecting competition from marauding monopolists. Restricted competition harms consumers. To protect MSFT's competitors from MSFT is to protect the consumer from harm. You should read the Appeals Court decision; they go over this pretty lucidly. Polls taken show that the majority of Americans agree. So what? Dave
