Fed adds $2.0 bln in reserves via 28-day repos

<<NEW YORK, July 16 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on Monday it added $2.0 billion in temporary reserves to the banking system through a round of 28-day fixed system repurchase agreements.

The Fed accepted the following collateral:
-- $1.810 billion in Treasuries, stop out 3.66 percent,
-- $0.190 billion in agencies, stop out 3.74 percent.

In morning dealings, federal funds were trading at 3.81 percent, according to Garban-Intercapital, above the Fed's 3.75 percent target for the rate.>>
