It really was sort of amusing. We'd just finished laughing over the habits of those who cannot discuss the current President without invoking the name of the previous one; along you came, predictable as Pavlov's dog, and did exactly as expected. Will you ever get used to the notion that Clinton's qualification - or lack of it - is in no way germane to the question of whether or not Bush is qualified?

Clinton is no longer the issue. He's history. Forget about him.

I didn't mention qualification, myself, only a set of policies that struck me as contradictory. That is hardly surprising, though. As others have pointed out, his administration took office with a collection of theological positions in place of policies, and that is always an invitation to contradiction.
