My position has long-been, that the embryo is not viable until it has attached to the uterus (and then subject to many natural variables). A fertilized egg does not make a viable embryo in my book (to be contrary to some on this thread whom you might consider to be my bretheren). In that sense, I am for RU-486 as a "reasonable compromise". Otherwise, I find it impossible to draw lines clear enough that do not trample the rights of the unborn.

I am a Constitutionalist.
