Hi Steven,

I'm not sure how long I'll hang out. I'd actually deleted the bookmark for a while. I've said most of what I can say in this forum. I found the exercise very frustrating in the past and only came back on a lark to say hello. I wouldn't think I'd be posting too much.

These days I'm getting inundated with emails from a listserver that I joined a few weeks back. It's comprised of a bunch of people with telescopes get together and go for dark sky observations. It's not really a club with officers and charters and whatnot. Just a bunch of people that have a common interest.

They're having a big Star Party at Mt. Lassen the next week (17th - 22nd). Saturday night (next) is the big public session. The equipment some of these people have is truly amazing.
