Paul, I for one, am glad that China got the Olympics. And I plan to be there. That would seem to me to be a "don't miss" event. It will be historic. The Olympics will provide a venue for understanding that no political outlet could ever hope to provide. Governing a country as big, populous, poor and culturally diverse as China is, presents problems we couldn't even begin to dream of. I can't wait to see it for myself. Enjoy your trip and your son, he sounds very sharp. Scott

Abstract! To your son, Thanks for including us in your thoughts to your dad. How nice that he will be arriving soon for a visit. Your welfare and safety is in my thoughts and prayers. Does she mean she's glad we have a good father/son relationship No! I did not doubt that. or does she mean she's glad the Chinese government doesn't read my emails? Yes! From what little I know about China.....I was worried about your safety as I read your post..... either way, I think she doesn't give the world enough credit. I guess I don't......(from the old school)....maybe I will be able to learn from you. I hope you will keep us informed, through your dad, as to what is going on and some of the changes that will be taking place there. We have such a little time to spend with our families.
