<Pollitt's views> He actually seems more pessimistic on the production outlook than I am, but I haven't quite worked through it yet. So far I can see about a fourth of the production of the major names I've done depleted by mid-decade, and very few new projects scheduled to come online(unless there is a mad scramble). By the end of the decade at these prices, production rates, high grading and level of inactivity (and yes, just buying someone else's existing output is inactivity), I see maybe a half to two-thirds in mine heaven.
