This is a case where the media is making a rush to judgement. As a result so is the general public. I'm getting pretty tired of all Chandra all day on the news, but I don't think the media are rushing to judgment. They may be sensationalizing it but all the coverage I've seen has been careful not to accuse him of having caused her disappearance, only of having "something" to hide, which has clearly been the case. I don't think we can blame the blood lust of SI posters on the media but rather on their own temperaments and critical thinking skills, which I often find quite scary. Karen

Yep, I agree with you, Gloop. I referring to "average wanker's" posts there, as well as a few others. I think a few people are rushing to judge Condit as a murderer, where the emotional energy could be better spent on concern for Levy. That said, despite the fact that I'm a Dem, I find Condit's heel-dragging really reprehensible.
