I think to a degree they are. I also have seen shows where they have asked people on the street their opinions and it does seem to me that they have this guy ready for the rope. Now - I have no idea Karen, He may be guilty as sin. But as of now we don't have enough to go on. I just think we need to handle this one right.

I don't know about the laws in D.C., but in this Washington it's a crime to impede an investigation by giving false or misleading information to the police. So if the Condit situation happened here, yes, a crime would have happened in his intentionally deceiving the police about his relationship with her. But maybe in the other Washington, since deception seems to be a way of life, it's not considered any big deal.
