Yes, of course it's my opinion... what else would you expect? Should I express someone else's opinion? I would hope you're expressing your own opinion and not someone else's..... time will tell if Condit is guilty..... I only hope they find the victim's body so the family can have some closure, at least.....

I appreciate your participation, it lends a certain balance of ideas to this thread..... there are numerous questions yet unanswered, I hope Condit could eventually help shed some light.....

You are basically right, but many times the police will will have a strong suspicion as to the perpetrator, yet lack the evidence which will hold up in court with which to file charges. For instance, there was a strange murder in our community about 15 years ago; on the surface it was never solved. Scotland Yard was involved because the victim was British. Yet our police said a few years ago that they were sure who did it and that person had left the area. No names were ever mentioned.
