Yes, I do indeed know when to pick a fight and this is not one I'm terribly interested in. To battle you at the same level as I did with the GUMMers I would, at first, need a position to defend. Since I do not have a position or opinion about REFR, I'll let you and Wexler continue your duel unabated, if you can call it that. I have neither the time nor the reason to do battle over REFR. It's just that Wexler, as illogical as it may seem to you, has a tendency to be right more often than he is wrong when it comes to his short positions. Consequently, I can't help but question the legitimacy of the longs that vehemently defend their positions when Wexler denounces their favorite pet stock. It always seems to occur along the same lines as though they're players following a script. I always wonder who these people really are since we are dealing with an on line personna that may or may not be what it seems.

I'm a fighting man by nature and I question everything. That's what makes me a good scientist. When somebody makes a statement as though it were fact it's my nature to say "prove it", whether I have a vested interest in what they're talking about or not. The GUMMers came onto this board before I had even considering shorting the stock. Yet, they were so obnoxious and unrelenting that I felt compelled to look into taking a position, and did. The rest is history. REFR, on the other hand, isn't a company that deals in a technology that I'm familiar with, so I have no opinion.

I also don't like being barraged with a lot of chaff. That, as you can tell, gets my dander up. However, I'm inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt. You seem like a reasonable man, unlike the GUMM idiots I am accustomed to butting heads with. So, I'll leave you REFR people alone for now.

However, for those of us that don't care about REFR, please feel free to discuss other stocks here if you wish. This board isn't just Wexler and his opinions, even though he started it. I get cranky when I keep reading the same old thing!
