Hi, ftth - Thanks for your response. It's probably safe to guess that v6 will make some incremental changes, helpful, but not The Solution, by themselves.

Looking at widely-discussed technologies that it is 'said' will use the Internet, such as multimedia streaming, VON, videoconferencing, etc., in both desktop and mobile devices, it's hard to see how QoS will be maintained.

Still, there's progress. IPv6 is another step.
