Zeev, excellent analysis and you are not the only one who shares this view. I was doing some chart reading today (actually comparing Nasdaq to Nikkei 1991 for the umpteenth time) and I just cannot believe that there are still so many bullish prognosticators. The parallels are uncanny.

As far as I am concerned, whether one uses Elliot or simple TA, any move towards the 200 day MA (on the SP 500 or Nasdaq) should be viewed as a gimme short.

The move of the April lows has been met with exactly what you say, lower highs and lower lows. This is a pattern that cannot continue without some type of (ugh) capitulation.

All IMO.
